13.01.07 Withdrawal of an Informative Document -or-

13.02.10 Withdrawal of a Standard for Trial Use

Says "… shall submit a Notice of Withdrawal of a Protocol Specification form to the Technical Steering Committee. This form will identify the subject protocol specification and provides the process to request input, review and approval of the request to withdraw the document from various HL7 entities.

We recommend it say "… shall submit a Specification Withdrawal Template to the Technical Steering Committee. This form will identify the subject protocol specification and whether it has been balloted and published. Based on the artifact's status according to the Withdrawal Guidance Chart , the WG may conduct a Comment-Only ballot to request input, review and approval of the request to withdraw the document from various HL7 entities."

 

Changes to ER:

03.04.02 Withdrawal of an HL7 American National Standard

Says "… shall submit a Notice of Withdrawal of a Protocol Specification form to the Technical Steering Committee. This form will identify the subject protocol specification and provides the process to request input, review and approval of the request to withdraw the document from various HL7 entities. Any public comments regarding the withdrawal of an HL7 ANS shall be reconciled under the normative process defined in §02."

Specifically, is the statement required: Any public comments regarding the withdrawal of an HL7 ANS shall be reconciled under the normative process defined in §02."? Can we clarify that the "public comments" are those collected by ANSI?
