What is the advantage of defining abstract profiles? 


Creating abstract profiles promotes inheritance for profiles that share common attributes, and avoids duplicating information in profile definitions. Additionally, instances can conform to profiles based on abstract profiles, but don't declare conformance to the abstract profiles themselves.
