    1. Hi Carol,

That document is outdated.  Here is a link to a file with current HSLOC content and how it is used by facilities reporting to NHSN:

  1. NHSN Healthcare Associated Infection (HAI) Reports Long Term Care Facilities (HAI-LTCF-FHIR), Release 1 - US Realm

    HealthcareAssociatedInfectionReports Implementation Guide CI Build

I'm hoping this can be harmonized and improved.

    1. Thanks Rob for pointing that out!

I will bring it up on our weekly HAI call next week and then provide an update.

  2. Sheila Abner, what's the timing on the "CDC authorative" code system URL?

When it is available, per agreement with HQ, we will notify the implementer and terminology community via Zulip.

  3. Sheila Abner Can we have the CDC Autoratative URL (even if it isn't ready) so we can communicate it to the HL7 community in advance?

      1. Thanks, i've updated the page with this URL. Per the vocab guidance, it is preferable that the URl does not end in .html. Can you tell us if this URL will redirect to the page?

        1. It needs to end in .html
