Laurie did not think we should co-sponsor because we are payers, not providers and this does not have anything to do with the 835 remit. Also, that it does not fall under payer to provider. Lenel suggested that PIE become an interested party and receive periodic updates. The calls for this PSS are on Tuesdays at 4:00 PM EST. Lisa suggested recorded report outs and send links to interested parties using Zulip. Vote on 05/26 if PIE will be an interested party. | |

How Payers should handle blocked data is out of scope. Under CMS final rule, only the Payer for current enrollment applies to the request. The patient can ask a payer to forward the data to another payer, but the destination payer has to have the capability to receive. Bob will check the requirements regarding Medicare, Medicaid and non-QHP. Pat continued and said she will invite someone to join the discussion next week. Bob will consult the Rule.
