PACIO Project

Test integration of CMS assessment data elements from the Data Element Library (DEL) into Health IT systems using FHIR APIs

Exchange patient level cognitive and functional status data between two disparate health IT (HIT) systems , incorporated with electronic Long-Term Services and Support (eLTSS) care plan and patient goals data, in a consumable format for clinicians, patients and family members.

  • Use Case: CUI for Health information

Vendors: Google (in exploratory planning phase for FHIR products)

Challenges: Accounting of use cases, initial inception questions on CUI, at implementation levels no significant technical issues

Looking for (see Zulip chat) to see justifications for having high water mater for search bundle, and what is needed for them.  Please contact Mohammad Jafariand Kathleen Connor

SOA proposal: Consent Management Service

Next week's agenda:

SOA is proposing a project for a Consent Management Service PSS specification addressing the APIs to interact with FHIR consent resources, as well as v2 and C-CDA. This will be informed by the ONC Leap Pilot as well as work done by Telstra Health in Australia.


The initial draft approved by SOA is here.
