Documentation Templates and Rules (DTR) Project Update (Bob Dieterle confirmed)
- Part of DaVinci burden reduction trio
  - Coverage Requirements Discovery (CRD)
  - Documentation Templates and Rules (DTR)
  - Prior Authorization Support (PAS)
- All 3 published as STU1 and cited in NPRM of Dec 2020, Final Rule that was never published/pulled back
- Expectation that it will be cited in 2022
- STU2 updates to address additional feedback, targeting January 2022 ballot
- DTR Updates
  - Clarify how to suspend/restart an in-progress workflow
  - Add support for Adaptive Questionnaires (part of SDC) to support
    - Support for complex decision trees
    - Proprietary documentation requirements
    - Requests for additional documentation and Payer Side Authorization
  - Formalize how DTR passes a package for PAS or PAO
- CRD Updates
  - Supporting flexibility in workflow is key for the use case
  - Propose this as a topic in the CRD/DTR standing call two weeks from yesterday
- DaVinci Testing Event
  - No education sessions, purely to meet testing requirements for going to ballot in January
- Any breaking changes?
  - A little too early to say, but at least in DTR, shouldn't be
