Goals
This meeting will be a full joint meeting with CDS, CQI and Pharmacy. Previous WGMs, 2 Pharmacy representatives joined the CDS and CQI Was on Fridays. Starting September 2021, this session will be a joint meeting among the 3 WGs.

- Planning not to create a separate implementation guide, but to incorporate guidance into the core specification, some of it in the Medication resource pages directly, some of it in the Medication module
- Plan to use Confluence pages to support collaborative development and review
- Potential issue is that the guidance applies across versions, so it's not that it's specific to R5
- Adding a date to MedicationUsage adherence
- Could potentially use structured information in MedicationUsage and MedicationAdministration to impact CMD calculation
- Would require systems to enable capture of that information in a structure way (typically is unstructured if captured at all)

- Definitional elements have either been moved out to MedicinalProductDefinition or a definitional backbone element
- Indications can be referenced to ClinicalUseDefinition

- BR&R have agreed to co-manage MedicationKnowledge/Medication, ClinicalUseDefinition and IDMP-related resources
