  • Connectathon Breakout Session (Sunday at 12:00 PM CT; Royal Room): Clinical Reasoning, DaVinci Burden Reduction and Clinical Data Exchange Joint Session to discuss the role of CQL and questionnaire in Da Vinci use cases

CDex Questionnaire Templates 

• Goal is to get some concrete examples from the payer community. Use those examples to define data elements, how the elements are coded, then create a set of questionnaires that represent the form. And a set of test data and CQL to map it to.

• Would be to start to write up a CQL script to gather the data and create FHIR resources using Synthea to create some test patients

3. Certificate of Medical Necessity
1. A certificate of medical necessity (CMN) is documentation from a doctor which Medicare requires before it will cover certain durable medical equipment (DME). The CMN states the patient's diagnosis, prognosis, reason for the equipment, and estimated duration of need.
