  • National directory team has been finalizing some of the value sets related to remaining PDex tickets.
  • National Directory team still waiting for input from FAST Security team members. Once that feedback is received, we can incorporate updates into the PDex endpoint profiles for mTLS elements.
  • Bob and Mark will spend time next week to ensure all the pieces are ready to go.
  • JH: Had discussed in previous weeks about continued conversations about trust framework. Will the directory updates provide this clarification?

  • BD: The directory updates will help provide this clarification to support testing at Connectathon.

  • JH: The broader topic was more conceptual clarification on trust framework.

  • BD: If using UDAP to define a trust framework, we will go with what UDAP does. If trying to define members of trust framework separate from that, were expecting identify cert of the member of the trust framework signed by the signing cert or the trust framework. That signed identity cert is what will go into the directory as proof that you belong. This helps verify they are who they say they are and have agreed that they are a member.
  • JH: Had several conversations a few weeks ago and folks were asking how this would work in practice. Don't people need to understand the mechanism of how people join the "trust framework" for purposes of Connectathon testing so folks know what to do with certs. Need to verify that a cert is trusted by trust framework to verify trust of participant.
  • BD: The question is artifact you put in directory in addition to the intent of trust framework. Your identify cert issued by a CA has a public cert signed by the trust framework. They validate that you a re a member by signing your public cert. What would go into the directory is the IF of signed cert.
  • JH: We really haven't defined that part.
  • BD: I have to write that up.
  • MS: Maybe we should try to get that documented and incorporated into the CI build of the IG and feed in changes from NDH and address all outstanding questions that we have.
  • BD: We are freezing a branch of Directory IG on 4/17 for the purpose of the Connectathon.
