MnM Merging Request with FHIR-I | Rob | MnM wants to merge with FHIR-I: Modeling and Methodology Work Group Dissolution/Merge Request - HL7 - Confluence Discussion: MnM has universal applicability and needs to be independent of any one product family. In general, a lot of the WGs fall into this category and should remain, e.g. Conformance. Assimilating infrastructural workgroups into a particular product family is not an optimal long-term strategy for HL7 (as new standards will surely emerge). It is our opinion that such WGs should remain independent. 2022-11-01 Conformance Call Frank and Rob provided this statement on the MnM/FHIR-I Merge request Page. This is just an opinion at this point. No quorum for a vote. Frank will send out vote request to conformance list serve. Motion to list serve: Motion is to disagree with proposal as is. Below is the opinion: <copy above). |
Workgroup Health | not discussed: Status for Conformance is on red, review outstanding items Project health is always a problem because of our limited resources.
HL7 WGM planning | not discussed: Planning for Las Vegas. On track. Rooms are requested. Further details?
FHIR Conformance Discussions | not discussed: Next steps to be discussed. Current details on this page: Support-Handling Solution for working with profiles are a set of dedicated ones with precise testable requirements. The problem is that working (editing) with different ones is a complexity no one wants to or can handle. Proposed solution is to define requirements associated with actors in one editable profile so that the detailed ones can be generated. Need to move in this direction. We need a better introduction at the beginning. Where are we now, what is the machinery. What is the goal to make this happen, and what the value is. Need to find a way to explain it. The goal is in the end an overarching conformance methodology that can be constrained into the different product lines. The proposal makes a huge step forward into this direction. But further details and discussions needed.
