Antitrust Statement

Professional Associations, such as HL7, which bring together competing entities are subject to strict 
scrutiny under applicable antitrust laws. HL7 recognizes that the antitrust laws were enacted to promote 
fairness in competition and, as such, supports laws against monopoly and restraints of trade and their 
enforcement. Each individual participating in HL7 meetings and conferences, regardless of venue, is 
responsible for knowing the contents of and adhering to the HL7 Antitrust Policy as stated in §05.01 of 
the Governance and Operations Manual (GOM).

Minutes for 09/13/22 approved by consensus.  Did not review the WGM minutes.  Members were asked to review for content and accuracy.

New Proposals and PSS for review - PIE comments or interest

No new project proposals.

PSS-2113 - Value Based Performance Reporting Implementation Guide

Voted to be co-sponsor during WGM in Baltimore.  No comments needed to be added. 

There were 303 participants and 31 tracks.

Durwin and Christol attended CDex table.  Reference implementation utilized with Touchstone Validation.  There was one issue in the header which was resolved.  Enfort Server/Client.  Recommended that Edifecs or Availity attend as mediators at next event.  Also work on Health LX for better use cases such as line items.  Greg - Dnetal had the DOD and two vendors from the private sector for referral/consultation use case.  Will involve more vendors and use cases next time.  Mark S. - PDex attribution exports.  Next time, payer/provider bulk exchange for future testing, loaded in the National Directory.  For second token Payer to payer exchange, it is best to have scoped credentials automated.

• The PIE workgroup had a large number in attendance at all meetings.
• Joined FM joint session for Da Vinci updates.
• Carin BB includes 1.1 version.  Amol stated that Corey will send E-mail once published.

• Mike D. commented on dedication of X12 members that also made the HL7 WG meeting in the same week.
• NCVHS also sometimes overlaps HL7 and X12.

For mission/charter, add some of the FHIR accelerator projects under Documents Completed section.  Remove Payer User Group and Payer Summit.  Add National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics.

For SWOT, WEDI was listed twice under strengths.  Corrected grammatical error under in #1 under opportunities.  Removed #3 and #5.   Approved
