SUMMARY: CMS/ONC’s USCDI+ Quality initiative has released its USCDI+ Quality data element list and is seeking comments on its level of completeness, level of specificity, and usefulness of companion guidance. https://ecqi.healthit.gov/uscdi-quality. Public comment is open until Jun 16. Must have a valid Jira account to submit comments.

Others collecting comments that I know about:

  • Karen Hagerty has added this to the agenda for the mCODE meeting that is being held at our Annual Meeting on Fri, June 2.
  • This is being brought forward to the Registry Coalition to see if there is interest in doing a joint letter.
  • College of American Pathologists (CAP) has shared they plan to submit comments.
  • Battelle who manages the Gordon and Betty Moore Grantees (of which ASCO is one), is also collecting comments and asked that we send by COB on Thursday, June 15 to be included in their response.


TO NOTE: anything CodeX QM team submits would not be able to come from MITRE. We could address the submission on behalf of, for example, “the CodeX HL7 FHIR Accelerator” so long as someone with an active JIRA account is able to submit.
