Concern about this approach "opening a hole" , i.e. potential for propogation of NDC codes where RXNorm should be. - Brian B. shares concern per chat.
Summary - Saul and Courtney will reach out to find specific examples where there is a drug on a formulary that does not have an RXNorm code yet
Rob would like to better understand this and propose alternative options. He is willing to bring it back to US Core where needed as well. Pharmacy did approved, but will hold on applying this change until we land this with the community. Use cases, may need a better solution. 3.

Implementer experiencing a similar issue - Agreed guidance would be helpful here. thwy were thinking of assigning a name. 4. Discussion:
