Antitrust statement

Professional Associations, such as HL7, which bring together competing entities are subject to strict scrutiny under applicable antitrust laws. HL7 recognizes that the antitrust laws were enacted to promote fairness in competition and, as such, supports laws against monopoly and restraints of trade and their enforcement. Each individual participating in HL7 meetings and conferences, regardless of venue, is responsible for knowing the contents of and adhering to the HL7 Antitrust Policy as stated in §05.01 of the Governance and Operations Manual (GOM).

Purpose of call is to review open tickets in the UTG Jira project (UP), specifically tickets in the following states:

  • Consensus Review
  • Waiting For Input
  • Proposal Draft

  • Discussed value sets that are in both the FHIR spec and THO, such at clinical-condition
    • Binding in US core is fixed to FHIR 4.0.1, but value set is also used in THO (and possibly have been updated there). Links need to be fixed. Fix links first and then content that the links point to. 
    • Anything added by UTG that affects a binding will not show up in publication you are looking at until it is regenerated. If the Value Set is anchored in hl7.org/fhir (not in THO) anything done in UTG is not going to show up in this value set. This value set was added to THO, and so this is an error in the US core spec because it has not been updated. Will not show up until specification is fixed. Need to determine which bindings need to be referenced in THO.
    • Per previous discussion with Grahame, these might be removed
