HL7 recognizes that the antitrust laws were enacted to promote fairness in competition and, as such, supports laws against monopoly and restraints of trade and their enforcement. Each individual participating in HL7 meetings and conferences, regardless of venue, is responsible for knowing the contents of and adhering to the HL7 Antitrust Policy as stated in §05.01 of the Governance and Operations Manual (GOM).

  • January Connectathon planning  January 10-12, 2022
    • Terminology Services track proposal: **Deprecated** 2022-01 Terminology Services
      • Davera will survey the tracks to ask what external terminology content is required
        • Sent eMail to Sandy Vance requesting track lead contact eMail list
  • Update from OMOP-FHIR Terminologies Subgroup
    • OMOP-FHIR All Hands Meeting - December 8, 10a Eastern
  • RH:  Tutorial is mid-way complete as of today.  ~45 attendees, a mix of backgrounds: implementation folks + beginners as well, some interest in advanced topics. 
          HL7 Terminology / Unified Terminology Governance (THO/UTG)10JB, RD
  • Publication request for THO v3.0.0 release approved by the TSC
    • Ted working with Grahame to resolve issues causing roadblock for release
    • Ted to notify community about THO freeze prior to starting the release
    • CM: should consider a minimum notification time prior to freeze before release.  
  • Held session focused on UTG improvements with Wayne, ONC, and others
    • There was general agreement that automation steps can ease the burden on the community but also that submitters must meet us halfway 
    • It will likely be beneficial to educate a smaller group of folks to become proficient in UTG (Super Users to stakeholder groups)
    • Potential RFP w/ required skill sets to support UTG may be forthcoming
  • Defining requirements for Sprint 2 of development items for the UTG workflow to add release tracking
    • Ted and Jess to meet and finalize requirements
  • Main priority for UTG/THO subcommittee should be to review and approve implementation of the UTG Task Force Recommendations to TSC
    • TSMG input required to define Oversight Group (OSG) voters for each OSG (i.e. V2, Vocab, Realm-based, etc.)
  • RD:  has completed retirement of Coding Systems per prior announcement in CiB.  Clean-up complete.  This will be in the 3.0.0 release.  All material represented there are records managed by the HTA, creates possibility of retiring / archiving the Confluence pages were these records "lived" previously.

    • Lisa:  is this topic too narrowly on FHIR, and should we be considering how this might impact, for example, CDA IGs?
