  • Handle external terminologies that were listed in R4, but are not in THO
    • DSM-V - No confluence page exists, thus no metadata record information was available, thus it is missing in THO. However, this is complicated by the fact that HTA has previously ruled that the related DSM-IV was not a proper code system as it contains no unique concepts, but rules on the utilization of ICD-10 codes. But...as DSM-V has already be declared as a code system in FHIR, the existing process and agreement would be for HTA to create a metadata record for DSM-V.
    • Deferring to the next TSMG main call.

  • General agreement that this is a code system where concepts are unique
  • Agreed to add more information to the code system metadata record page: Pharmacogene Variation (PharmVar)
    • The following content should be placed in a "Using PharmVar with HL7 products" page, not the metadata record.

    • "In the context of the representation of PharmVar in HL7 standards: 

      • The concept identifier is the PharmVar ID
      • The concept display name is the Allele Name
      • There are several concept properties associated with PharmVar concepts (Legacy Label, Variants, etc.)
      • The code system is represented with an is-a hierarchy

    Regarding the PharmVar copyright information, the PharmVar owners are having a meeting to discuss late in November, so I hope we will have something for you by end of year.
