TC Minutes Approval

  • Plan is to move call back an hour following DST
    • 8 AM ET
  • Should ensure time is correct on Teleconferences page
  • Will need to let TSMG know of time change
TopicExternal Content in ICHOM Breast Cancer FHIR IGNewUmanga and Vadim

Had challenges mapping some of the variables included in the ICHOM Set to SNOMED as appropriate codes were not always available, and we therefore defined our own custom code systems for a few variables in the ICHOM measure set. Please find the custom code systems here and an example of a value set which includes a mix of SNOMED and custom codes here.

IG requires FMM level 2 and intends to go to ballot in the January 2023 cycle.

  • If content originates from third party source (i.e., a questionnaire, third party rating system, data collection, etc.) and if it is copyrighted information, we need to declare all metadata associated with the code system and provide proper citation
    • Content needs to meet criteria of a code system (uniqueness of codes)
    • Metadata resource would be created at THO so IG Publisher can be aware of the valid code system resource
  • If content does not originate from third party source, and created de novo to support IG, then it can be created as a local resource
    • Follow process for anchoring content
    • Always suggest re-use of existing code systems over duplication (check THO)
  • ICHOM can join another call or send via email if unsure where their content falls
  • Also suggest that requests be made to add SNOMED codes where appropriate

UTG/THO Update

ContinuousJess and Reuben

  • Received licensing verbiage from Dan Vreeman, Ted is putting together a mockup for TSMG to review
  • Priority remains settling of terminology expectations for IG developers

External SDO and Code System Issues

(review JIRA tickets

JIRA Dashboard in progress

  • Related Zulip discussion:
  • There are two entries using the ATC url in THO that are causing issues with the publisher tooling
  • Proposed solution
    • Unless anyone identifies an immediate need for American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) to be in THO or knows of a uri that has been in use for it, remove entire entry from THO as it is erroneous
      • Note that ATCC is represented as ATC in v2 table 0396 so we may wish to update the acronym used there as well
    • Consider changing <id> of the correct ATC entry from 'v3-WC' to 'atc' per request on Zulip
      • Jess has changed id values for some external entries in the past, specifically to remove reference to v3, but this has come up recently that we may not want to do so
      • The <id> is not exposed through the THO interface, but is in the resource XML file
  • From discussion
    • This is an error from THO import and no one should ever have used this entry, so it should be removed (and thus throw error)
    • <id> is only meaningful in the IG publisher and so it will remain the same
    • This <id> is server specific and so we will not consider requests to change
  • JB motions to remove erroneous ATCC entry and <id> of correct ATC entry will remain the same. RD seconds. Motion passes 4-0-0.

ICF and ICF Dutch translation

Reuben moves to approve ICF and ICFDut metadata pages. JB seconds. Motion passes 4-0-0.

UICC TNM Staging

HTA-90 - Getting issue details... STATUS

  • Drafted page reviewed by requestor, ready to be approved by HTA
  • RM: Need clarification if those alternate oids are identifiers or version identifiers
    • Can move forward with current identifiers
    • Send note to Kai and Sylvia to show how we plan to represent UICC TNM and note that previous editions are not represented as alternate OIDs (last part of OID looks like it is being treated as version but confirmed it is not just for this code system so not a root we can tie to)
  • Will seek clarification prior to approving metadata for addition to THO

X12 Insurance Type

CDA-1513 - Getting issue details... STATUS

  • Pending review by someone who knows the X12 content to determine what is the definitive source
  • Asked Mary Kay to draft a page and HTA will review when ready

  • Joel to propose updated text for what should be used for the code and HTA will review and update the resources as necessary
