TopicHTA and TSMGContinued from previousCarol

Membership established through changes in TSMG.  GOM requires some examination for changes.  Discussion deferred to future HTA meeting.

Roel notes there is a tight turnaround between the end of the weekly TSMG meeting and this meeting timing that provides some challenges.

      • This note is written in response to the TSMG request that workgroups review the list of code systems not managed by the HTA and identify from that list the code systems which should be retained and brought under the HTA's management. The Public Health workgroup has identified the following codes systems from the list that should be retained:

        160

        Industry CDC Census 2010

        PHRaceAndEthnicityCDC

        PHRaceAndEthnicityCDC

The list is still under review; it is possible that additional code systems will be identified at a later date. We will also review the metadata associated with each code system and update the metadata as needed.

The PHWG agenda for 10/21/2021 includes further discussion on this topic with a primary focus on ODH vocabulary. If a member of the TSMG or HTA is able to join our call (details can be found here) it would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Updated CS Identifier process guidance

Continued from previousCarol

We are almost through the core principles.

The draft is located here: Validating and Requesting Identifiers for External Code Systems and Identifier Systems

HTA members and observers are asked to review the drafted text, directly edit where changes are needed and use the comment functionality to ask additional questions. We will review again (and hopefully approve on the next HTA call, which will be at the WGM).
