Ted

Version 3 vocabulary , looking at V3 vocabulary from 2018. There are hundreds of code systems in V3.

How do we want to publish value sets? The answer was to list code systems that have content contained in HL7 value sets.

There are thousands of value sets.

In FhIR, there is a  terminology page which among other things separates out types of code systems - external, internal, genetics,

HL7 V3, HL7 V2.

Ted did a walk through of the proposed UTG workflow.  We looked at how terminology is rendered in the FHIR ballot vs. how it proposed to be rendered in FhIR IGs.

The consensus was the FHIR spec rendering is preferable to the FhIR IG builder rendering.

Brian Pech  Ted Klein Talk to Wayne Kubick  about this issue.

The FHIR build vocabulary pages contain links out the external terminologies cited, would it be possible to include links from this pages to Implementation Guides that cite the referenced terminologies?

Vocabulary is using an open source web based tool to generate glossaries. Vocabulary is happy with, how does HL7 want to manage it?

Vocabulary is working with external SDOs that use the open source tool to help harmonize vocabulary use across the SDO space. The tool can scan text to flag terms that are incorrect or in conflict.   http://www.skmtglossary.org/
