Professional Associations that bring together competing entities, such as HL7, are subject to strict scrutiny under applicable antitrust laws. HL7 recognizes that the antitrust laws were enacted to promote fairness in competition and, as such, supports laws against monopoly and restraints of trade and their enforcement. Each individual participating in HL7 activities, regardless of venue, is responsible for knowing the contents of and adhering to the HL7 Antitrust policy as stated in §05.01 of the Governance and Operations Manual (GOM).

Helios Bulk Data Connectathon - January 2023 Henderson NV

  • 2023 - 01 Helios Accelerator Bulk Data Track
  • Helios sponsored track at Connectathon, Saturday and Sunday before WGM
  • Any interest in joining? 
    • May be some from AIRA, Envision, but depends on priorities
    • AIRA could produce lists of manufactured test data
    • HLN, Utah, and Optum are planning to come
  • Lots of potential for how bulk query will help getting data out of IIS
  • Hope is that this solution will reduce burden on IIS, create a single end point to get data
  • Homework for all the work group:
    • Send Craig an email with what problems, or what activities that a fully-fledge FHIR Bulk Query access solution fixes.

Converting ImmunizationRecommendation to ImmunizationRequest

Any further discussion on this? 

Need to get this on a future CDS call. Get Bryn on the call as well. May need to document the movement from ImmunizationRecommendation to MedicationRequest. Need to present a visualization to CDS, and eventually a written recommendation. Need to show how the resources fit together and interact with other concepts. There is a clinical reasoning module, maybe we need an immunization module that talks about how these things go together.
