  • Past WGMs have included a Public Health track but only loosely associated with our WG
  • The CMS Connectathon will happen Jan 7/8 in Baltimore (not as many folks were going to be able to make the Sydney WGM)
  • It will focus on federal use cases:
    • BSeR
      • Including Gravity and 360X collaborations
    • Common Reporting Services
      • Reporting backend app / service
      • FHIR subscriptions, transmission, IG creation, etc
    • Electronic Case Reporting
    • EIP Flu Surv NET (maybe)
      • An IG may be in the planning stages
      • It's been technology focused so far
  • Won't include:
    • Cancer reporting
    • Death reporting
  • There is no charge for participation
  • There will be a public health track in San Antonio in May
