  • Update to the existing eICR document (Release 2)
  • Scope for changes is the previous STU comments, pregnancy template, occupational data for health, vital signs and a few other lab related changes
  • There is a note to ballot readers regarding the scope of comments allowed and a request for comments on a few sections
    • Keep these in mind when doing your ballot comments
  • All the templates that have been added/changed are flagged as "draft"
  • Sarah will ask Lynn at HQ if she can include pointers (as comments) back to the STU comments that initiated a change
  • The documents will be circulated to the listserv soon for QA review
  • Will be asking for approval to go to ballot on next week's call

  • Update to the existing NHCS IG (Release 2)
    • Will be based on CDA 2.1
    • Several templates have been deprecated
      • Will be going back to the base templates

  • Both IGs were "error-free" as on March 10
  • There is some confusion regarding the QA timelines
  • Will be asking for approval to go to ballot for both IGs on next week's call
  • VRDR (http://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/vrdr/index.html)
    • This is a new IG based on STU3
    • There are 33 profiles included
      • Includes a composition to tie it all together
    • Anticipates a messaging workflow (but doesn't restrict it to just a messaging paradigm)
    • Includes tracing to requirements in the DAM or paper death certificate
    • Planning to pilot the IG with 6 states
    • Send QA comments straight to AMS
  • BSeR (http://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/bser/index.html)
    • This is the second ballot for this IG
      • Includes notifications to both balloters and implementers
    • Based on STU3
    • Includes description of a messaging workflow, including state changes
    • Includes an extension to PractitionerRole

  • All proposals passed including the one Public Health approved to add X - Non-Binary to HL7 table 0001 (Administrative Sex) for use in the PID segment
  • Remember that the Vocab group is pursuing a Gender Harmony project to try and harmonize concepts across product families - please join the discussion if you have time and interest
