The PACIO Project currently is focusing on the development of data exchange standards for several post-acute care use cases to establish a common language and process for all health IT systems to communicate, allowing patient information to be shared seamlessly and efficiently between providers.

The PACIO Project would like to invite all stakeholders, including clinicians, health IT vendors, policy makers, patients and professional advocacy groups, interested in developing Advance Directives data standards to participate in this effort. This is an opportunity to help shape and influence future interoperability in health care.

If you and/or other staff members within your organization would like to learn more or would like to participate in our weekly calls, please visit the individual use case pages listed below.  We also have an Implementation Guide Dashboard to provide status on each use case at a glance.
