Description
The aim of the PACIO Functional and Cognitive Status Subgroup is to enable communication to facilitate patient care and decision making. We seek to do so by providing use cases, requirements, and content to the PACIO Personal Functioning and Engagement IG. The specific roles / contributions of the group include
- Define the scope of the subgroup through use cases that require communication
- Develop standards to support those use cases
- Provide structural requirements for the PFE FHIR IG
- Define and maintain one or more domains and related codes and value sets within the supplemental guide
- Support testing and piloting activities, within the subgroup scope, including recruitment, implementation, and evaluation
The work of this subgroup is a continuation of work performed by the prior PACIO Project Cognitive Status subgroup and the PACIO Project Functional Status subgroup.
