This is the home page for the Patient Care Work Group. PCWG is a pilot work group for the functions being developed as part of the JIRACon Project. In this environment, attendance logs, meeting agendas and notes, and other work group functions are enabled to assist the work group participants in developing standards as well as necessary housekeeping functions for standards development organizations. Use JIRA to document issues, change requests, questions, and comments for documentation and resolution.

Mission

The mission of the Patient Care Working Group (PCWG) is to define the requirements and to design and validate standards, specifications, and implementation guides for the capture, communication, and use of information related to the management, execution and quality of care provision.

Conference Calls

The Patient Care Work Group (PCWG) holds daily conference calls (Monday to Thursday) on projects and topics that are important to PCWG missions, goals and objectives

Notices for conference calls are sent out to the HL7 Patient Care mailing list. Participants interested in participating and contributing are encouraged to sign up as PCWG and listserv members.
