  • Need Jean Duteau advice on how we can include the following types of characteristics (if they are not already in the resource)
  • Physical characteristics: frozen, shelf stable, etc
  • IDDSI characteristics: texture and consistency of food and fluids
    • Labels for liquids for manufacturers are supposed to be containing the symbols in the future, but not food items
    • need to separate food and liquid characteristics
  • Allergens
  • Menu planning attributes (food pyramid, diabetic exchanges, color, shapes, etc)
