Project Overview:
HL7 Pediatric Care Health IT Functional Profile is an Informative Standard that describes the electronic health record functionality supporting child health care in the United States. The standard supports the Recommendations for the Voluntary Certification of Health IT for Use in Pediatric Care settings, as published by the 21st Century Cures Act and the U.S. ONC Health IT Certification Program. It also leverages existing work published by AHRQ's Child Health EHR Format, as well as gather input from child health EHR subject matter experts within the HL7 and from the pediatric community at large. This standard also serves to complement the previous child health specific HL7 standards, including HL7 Child Health Functional Profile Release 1 (2008, 2019) and HL7 Developmental Screening and Reporting Services Derived Profile, Release 1.
Child health providers, EHR vendors, healthcare institutions and other interested parties (such as governing/regulatory bodies, HIT certification organizations, among others) can leverage the standard to learn about the pediatric-specific functions that clinical information systems must have to support child health care.

(From Todd) This is an excel spreadsheet download of the Children EHR 2013 List.
I have made a first pass through the requirements and attempted to classify them in certain ways, as explained in the spreadsheet.
I have done this from the point of view of Drummond who is creating a Pediatric EHR Testing program, not from a Functional Profile
development perspective, but hopefully these objectives are at least roughly aligned.
4.2 ONC Pediatric HIT Information Resource Publications:
4.3 A "master" requirements list. The following spreadsheet includes a consolidated list of:
1) the 2013 List
2) the 2015 Priority List,
3) pediatric-specific additions from the CH FP R1, and
4) additional items planned currently planned for Drummond's Pediatric EHR testing program, all organized by primary topic (some of which directly align with 2015 Priority reqs but others are net new additions.
5) A mapping of the 2015 Priority List items to the ONC 10 recommendations.
There is considerable duplicate statements in this master list that will need to be further consolidated. But my thought was to first put everything in one place organized by a core set of topics, which is derive/shortened set of topics used in the AHRQ work

Here is a link to the EHR-S Work and Health Functional Profile (WHFP), which includes references to including household member/parent information in a pediatric record.
