DEQM with Gaps in Care Supplemental Guide

This is an example to show a $care-gaps return when patient is not in measure's initial population.

For example, gaps-patient10, a 29 years old male, does not meet the initial population criteria of Colorectal Cancer Screening measure because of the age. 

GET [base]/Measure/$care-gaps?measureId=EXM130-7.3.000&periodStart=2021-01-01&periodEnd=2021-06-30&subject=Patient/gaps-patient10&status=not-in-initial-population

• Since the status parameter of $care-gaps operation is set to "not-in-initial-population", then a MeasureReport for the Colorectal Cancer Screening measure will be returned for this patient

• If the status parameter of $care-gaps operation is set to either open-gap or closed-gap or both, then no MeasureReport for the Colorectal Cancer Screening measure will be returned for this patient

This is an example to show a summary MeasureReport for a Promoting Interoperability Measure that is a proportion measure: e-Prescribing (measure ID: PI_EP_1)

NUMERATOR: The number of prescriptions in the denominator generated and transmitted electronically using CEHRT.
DENOMINATOR: Number of prescriptions written for drugs requiring a prescription in order to be dispensed other than controlled substances during the performance period; or number of prescriptions written for drugs requiring a prescription in order to be dispensed during the performance period.
