When the project gets started, we need to determine what format the SMEs will need to review and express the mappings. We also need to agree on the content that will be included in the Web IG that will ultimately be published as the artifact to hold and organize all this work. This will be similar to the Web IG produced for HL7 Version 2 to FHIR mappings.
We also need to consider how the SMEs will work so that we can divide an conquer the body of work. We should also consider how vendors engaged in the project would "test" the use of the mappings to inform their implementations. The output/experience of the implementations of the mappings were very telling in terms of vetting the accuracy of the maps. (Google, Lantana, MaxMD, MDIX, DHIT etc.)
We should draft a schedule for Balloting the IG. We also should use the C-CDA IATs to promote and gain more implementer support (July 28th, October 21st)

We need to work with HL7 to determine how we will produce the Web IG.
We need to work with HL7 to establish how one CDA IG references the mapping guidance produced in this CDA IG.

We take a page from the Collaborative Template Review Pilot to establish a way of working that commits to having resources from this project reach-out to go and meet with the WG responsible for the corresponding FHIR Resources to gain consensus and collect input/feedback from all involved.
